I had always heard a lot about it from my colleagues and friends. They say she looks very beautiful, has amazing color, is very comfortable and is much more better then others. Since, then I always wanted to get into it and feel the comfort she gives, see the beauty and try it out for myself.
25th February 2007 - Sunday
I was waiting for my colleague to come down, as we both were going to meet her together. He had been with this beauty many times hence he was well aware about her. While we were heading to meet her, he was praising her a lot, that how strict she is, the way she loves punctuality, the way she serves, etc. We were a bit worried, as my colleague was already late. Luckily the auto driver drove very fast and we managed to reach at her place by 5.00 pm
We directly went and met her receptionist, to collect our entry passes. No one can meet her without the security passes and we were no exception. There was a long queue to meet her and god willing we were 2nd in the queue. Time passed and it was 6.00 pm and still we were 2nd but the queue had increased more then expected. We figured something’s fishy and on enquiring with the receptionist we figured out that there is power cut, due to which they can not issue computer generated security passes. We were still waiting and it was 6.30 and finally we got manual security pass. Without any delay, we rushed happily for security check, as I wanted to meet her very badly. I was a pretty annoyed, in spite of being on time we had to wait for an hour and half, just to meet her
As we reached for the security check, the security guy sent us back saying they need a stamp from receptionist. Arghh… we ran back towards the receptionist just for a stamp all the way long. Again we had to wait, till she got stamp and then stamped our passes. Finally we cleared the security check and were looking for the right gate to see her
On asking, we were asked to go down 2 floors where we would be taken personally to the beauty. We rushed down 2 floors. On reaching down, we came to know that the door leading to beauty was 2 floors up and then had to take the right. We felt like shouting, but we controlled ourselves and rushed back 2 floors up
Finally we found a friend of beauty eagerly waiting to greet us. She took our security passes, and showed us way to the beauty. Finally we entered the beauty, the so called Kingfisher plane. I checked my watch, it was 7.00pm. The flight departure time was 6.20 and we entered the flight at 7.00 pm - what a punctuality!

We started looking for our seats, and not to be astonished we already found someone else sitting on our seats, with their boarding pass showing same seat numbers. Being good individuals, we took another seat and made ourselves comfortable. I was having fun in the flight, seeing all passengers confused with seat numbers and air hostess trying to convince the passengers for the mess caused… lol. It was worst scenario then a local bus/ train
Finally we thought we would take off, as the plane started to take reverse at around 7.15 pm. Unluckily, the captain announced that the flight will get more delayed, as 8 planes are in schedule to take off before ours. We were driving along the boundaries of Mumbai airport. It was 7.45 pm and already tired
Finally at 8.00 pm we took off. I was pretty hungry, and was waiting to be served as we were at the airport since 5 pm. We got the food, and it was worst then expected. It was time for dinner and we were served with Snacks (that too not eatable kind) as it was 6.20 departure flight. I had never eaten such food ever in my life
I could not find a single feature, service in Kingfisher Airways, which could be complimented. I wished I never had such first experience with Kingfisher
